Well, I'm a repeat purchaser on this particular shoe... I love it. I'm still actively wearing out my first pair (3+ years old at this point). Everything from concrete floors in the work place (traction is not so great on wood dust) to climbing rocks and trees, to fly fishing, to motorcycle riding and weight lifting. The breathability of these shoes is unparralelled; my feet get hot and swollen (thanks to some old injuries) and there are few things that feel better than the breeze across my toes while on the bike. They dry quickly and seem to have better traction on wet tile than I would expect on dry turf. They are a bit stiff at first and the old pair is definitely less supportive but still good to go. The only portion that might benefit from some additional r&d (in my oppinion) would be the non-metallic drain; that seemed to age more severely than the rest of the shoe and allows more than water into the shoe. Nonetheless, worth every penny!
Three+ years in and still running—that’s the Maritime earning its keep.
From concrete to rock, water to road, gym to throttle—this is what all-terrain, all-condition performance looks like. Fast-drying, breathable, and built to keep you moving when the environment shifts.
Appreciate the honest callout on the drain ports—that kind of feedback drives the next evolution.
Glad you came back for another pair. Keep putting them to work.
Well made. Appreciate hard sole for diving
Engineered to hold the line—solid underfoot and ready for the dive.
Appreciate you putting the Maritime to work where it counts.
I’ve never owned shoes this tough. After four years of heavy abuse, they’re still comfortable and easy on my knees, hips, and back. I can get them dirty, clean them up in minutes, and wear them straight into a casual business setting.
Four years of hard use and still holding the line - that’s exactly what the ALTAMA® Maritime was built for.
This is durable tactical footwear designed to take abuse, stay comfortable, and keep moving—whether you’re on your feet all day or transitioning from the field to a casual setting without missing a step.
Easy to clean, built to last, and engineered for all-day support - that’s mission-ready performance that earns its keep.
We appreciate you putting them through real-world conditions and sticking with ALTAMA®. Keep running them hard.
Design is unique to a degree and useful. Wore these in a tropical climate for an extended period of time and they held up well, particularly the soles and fabric where the soles typically become unglued near the toes.
That’s the Maritime doing exactly what it was built for.
Hot, wet, unforgiving environments are where this boot earns its reputation—and holding strong where others fail is no accident. That bond, that build, that durability—it’s all mission-driven.
Appreciate you putting them through real conditions and reporting back. Keep running them hard.
Just got my maritimes in today. Tried them on and, wow. Very comfortable. Already thinking of another pair. I got the black for security work. Now, I want either the OCP or Coyote tan. May have to ditch some shoes and boots.
We love hearing great field reports like yours. Proud to have earned a go-to spot in your stack and honored you are already coming back for more. We'll keep building the best so you can clean out your closet from anything else.
