Love the mid for the days when I am on the water, but have a little planned as well.
I first tried a pair of black Urban Assault Mids for work (I'm a police officer) and loved those. So I wanted another pair that looked slightly less tactical for off-duty personal wear, and these fit the bill very well! I have used the GearAid Revivex Durable Water Repellant for the canvas portion and the Revivex Rubber Boot treatment for the toe. The most comfortable shoes I've worn, while still giving ankle support (which I need).
Always been a fan of this company since the military. No different here, comfortable and fit well.
I've had these shoes for 9 months and 25 days(Jan-April light wear and April to now normal wear.) and have had the lows prior. The first pair tore in the drain hole within 2 months of normal wear (2-3 days a week), but liked to see if it was a one off. These seemed great during the break in time, the about 2 months into wearing them 2-3x a week for 5hrs a day I started hearing a crinkle. Thought maybe the fabric, then something started rubbing me on my ankle. Couldn't find the culprit until today, the heel reinforcement had shattered into sharp pieces. These are not it, I got past the tear, the narrow toe etc. I wanted to like them, even tried them twice. These shoes are terrible, back to my quest of finding a good tactical shoe.
Love em
