I love these boots. I bought them two-ish months before Ranger School and broke them in before attending Pre-Ranger.
They broke in great and felt amazing on my feet. I wore them daily through Ranger and they held up great. They remove moisture effectively and the soles are great for any operation.
The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is due to the fabric lace routing on the side of the boot. I had multiple tear on me over time and I had to punch holes in the leather to reroute the laces properly.
I would recommend removing the fabric, punching a gromet in the leather and route the laces through a hard point. Other than that, great boots. I will have a pair before Sapper and any other future challenges.
Currently overseas...I have yet to receive my order after almost 1.5 months from ordering. If possible, I'll update review upon receipt.

Wore these without breaking in for Oklahoma deer season this year. Standard boot socks on warm day, wool when slightly colder, no issues. Prefer lace up versus slip ons due to a few old ankle injuries. These boots remind me of the jungle and desert boots of the 1990s, but modernized… Happy with them, five stars.
