Alpha Freedom 6" - Hands down, the absolute best, most comfortable boot I've ever worn in my 20 year law enforcement career; not to mention, the easiest on and off. They fit great, they feel secure, no matter what I encounter.
Throughout my career, I have tried many, many boots. I settled on one brand, which I loved; however, the model I wore for so long was discontinued, and they did not make a suitable replacement. I have spent hundreds, and hundreds of dollars to find the right replacement boot, from the less expensive, to $300 Danner boots. After putting these on the very first time, all of my other boots have taken their place in the garage next to the lawn mower, standing ready for yard work.
I love these boots, and wish I would have known about these sooner. If there was one thing I would change about them, I'd love to see more leather on them. Possibly up along the laces, or along the sole. I'm not sure if that's possible due to the design and functionality, but I just wanted to pass it along to the designers, if it would ever make it to them. Either way, I retire in 5 years, and I will never buy a different boot.
