Maritime - Mid

Great shoe! I purchased directly from Altama and the shipping was very fast. I use this shoe as a patrol officer in Central Texas and I love it. The material is very breathable which adds to the comfort during hot days.

These are my favorite shoes—they are essentially Chuck-Ts, a plain and simple pair of sneakers.

I believe the pricing is somewhat high. The maximum for the highs should be $90, but I am still buying them at the current price.

I wear them daily, standing for 8-12 hours for work. With heavy use, their lifespan is about four months. I own nearly 20 pairs and have only experienced a complete sole wear-through on one pair.

But I still love them. If you haven't tried them, give them a shot. The black ones match almost everything. They lean more towards urban tactical footwear rather than rural or jungle styles. However, they dry very quickly. Keep in mind, they offer no water protection, so if you need waterproof tactical boots, these are not suitable.

They go great in jeans. You can be an immature dork and wear them in a suit. But jeans and t-shirt/ shorts t-shirt, definitely very appropriate.

Love the mid for the days when I am on the water, but have a little planned as well.

I first tried a pair of black Urban Assault Mids for work (I'm a police officer) and loved those. So I wanted another pair that looked slightly less tactical for off-duty personal wear, and these fit the bill very well! I have used the GearAid Revivex Durable Water Repellant for the canvas portion and the Revivex Rubber Boot treatment for the toe. The most comfortable shoes I've worn, while still giving ankle support (which I need).

Always been a fan of this company since the military. No different here, comfortable and fit well.
