As of writing this it has been over a week since I emailed the company regarding the purchase of the foxhound boots. Boots were advertised as “provides maximum breathability, minimal weight”. This was not the case - they are bulky and have a cold weather lining that causes your feet to get extremely hot. These might be useful as a cold weather boot, but operating in temperatures above freezing is not ideal. I had wanted to confirm if the company shipped me the wrong boot, but no response yet. DO NOT BUY if you plan to use these boots for anything other than cold environments.
Thanks for sharing your experience. We're sorry the ALTAMA® Foxhound hasn't met your expectations, especially with the delay in getting assistance. The Foxhound has been a longtime favorite for its lightweight, breathable tactical boot design and is not built with a cold-weather lining, so we'd definitely like to take a closer look at what you're experiencing and confirm you received the correct footwear.
One of our Customer Service team members reached out directly this morning to help get to the bottom of this. We appreciate the opportunity to make things right and hope to connect with you soon.
My new favorite boot!. Sizing has always been reliable with Altama, making ordering online an easy confident choice.
That’s what we like to hear. The ALTAMA® Foxhound was made to be the kind of tactical boot you can order with confidence, lace up, and get straight to work. Consistent sizing matters when you’re buying duty footwear online, and we’re glad the fit has stayed dialed in across your ALTAMA® boots.
Thanks for trusting us with another pair—and for giving the Foxhound the “new favorite” title. Run ’em hard. 🫡
These boots are amazing. I won a certificate for a free pair of boots in a raffle at the Wolverine 5k in June and ordered these boots. Thank you for supporting the shooting sports community!
Hi Michael, we're thrilled to hear you love the Vengeance SR Side-Zip! Thank you for your support and for sharing your story. Enjoy your new boots!
They are very comfortable. I do remodel work on homes and I'm on my feet all day. My feet aren't hurting when I get home.
Thank you for letting us know the tried and true ALTAMA® Vengeance is still hitting all the right marks and bringing you through your day in comfort. That's our mission. Keep putting them through their paces.
