Hi Original SWAT,
I have been wearing original SWAT safety boots for the last 20 years for work (Defense Industry) and I have worn out many pairs. I even now buy non-safety boots for casual wear, They are the lightest and most comfortable boot I have ever worn. They have kept my feet safe and in my opinion they 'look the business' on the work site and in public.
My only complaints are that:
- the durability of the boots is declining over the years with a pair is only lasting me 6-12 months
- it is difficult purchasing these boots whist in Australia and very difficult to purchase from Canada

Did not know what to expect, but i actually really like this shoe. Sole is solid, i tightened the laces such that it felt snug but the zipper makes it really easy to take on and off, and after getting used to the stiffness at the ankle it was very comfortable.
