What's to say about "combat Chucks" that hasn't already been said? Comfortable in warm weather, lightweight, durable, but don't scream "tactical boot" when you wear them in public. I have a multiple pairs in different colors and I will keep buying them.

I have mostly operated equipment and rucked in these amazing shoes. Only issue I’ve seen is; around the drain mesh the sole had come loose on both shoes. I just put super glue where this happened to square them away.
Thanks for the field report and for putting the ALTAMA® Maritime to work the way it was intended. Equipment operations, rucking, and hard use in demanding environments are exactly where these shoes earn their keep.
We also have to tip our hat to a little operator-level problem solving. While super glue can certainly get the job done in a pinch, we've found that Shoe Goo tends to be a better long-term repair option because it remains flexible and holds up better to repeated movement and abuse.
