I really love the style of the shoe, and they are mostly comfortable, but the toe box is very cramped. The soles are great, they lace up great, they just make my toes hurt from being squished together. I know they are not a “barefoot” style shoe, so I knew what I was getting in to. Hopefully this review is good enough for others seeking this style of shoe to look at other options kinder to natural foot position. I will still wear them on days at work when I don’t need to be so active, but a wider toe box model would be outstanding.

Rugged, well built w/good materials, good stitching, solid but not too rigid. Good true fit. Made for wear w/out socks but I have neuropathy and bad balance so I needed something with good grip. I just went 1/2 size up, put in a thin gel orthotics insert and wear with socks. It's my go to system. Very impressed. Will buy mids next!
