Conquering Kilimanjaro.

Proving Our Boots. Supporting a Mission.

When Terence Holmes laced up, he wasn’t just climbing Africa’s highest peak. He was carrying a mission for clean water, step by brutal step.

Mt. Kilimanjaro isn’t conquered by chance. It takes endurance, grit, and gear that won’t quit. Over 19,000 feet of shifting terrain — from sweltering jungles to freezing alpine winds — demand more than ordinary footwear. They demand boots built for warriors.

In February 2025 Terrence Holmes conquered Mt. Kilimanjaro,
Terence wore several of our toughest styles he started and ended the challenge in the Original Swat Alpha Freedom boots, and he summited in the Altama Abootabad; proving their strength on one of the world’s harshest tests. Every mile, every blistering climb, every frozen step confirmed what we already knew: when the mission matters, Original Footwear delivers.

The Mission Beyond the Mountain

This climb was about more than the mountain. Partnering with Waterboys, Terence’s journey raised awareness for the fight to bring clean water to communities in need. Every step up Kilimanjaro represents the daily struggle of African women who walk miles on a daily basis to fetch water for their families something most of us take for granted. The climb proved our boots. The mission proved our why.
